Olde Glory Days is Clinton's five-day Independence Day festival, hosted by the Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce and centered on the Historic Downtown Square. In 2026 it ran July 1 through July 5. The pattern is fairly consistent year-to-year, though exact dates and lineup change each summer.

Why we fill up
We're the closest full-service hotel with 32 renovated rooms, and Olde Glory Days brings back extended family, out-of-town classmates, and reunion groups who use the festival as an anchor for a Missouri visit. It's not unusual for us to be fully booked months in advance for this week.
How to book smart

- Consider the Family Suite — three full-size beds if you've got kids, cousins, or grandparents in one place.
- Consider the Jacuzzi Suite if the parade day is also an anniversary — this happens more than you'd think.
What the day looks like
Wake up. Free hot breakfast at Westbridge. Drive three minutes to the square — 0.6 miles — and park in a lot around the courthouse. Do the parade at 10 AM. Come back for a nap. Eat somewhere on the square — Square 109, 303 Jefferson, or Ben Franklin Bistro for lunch. Head back for the fireworks at 9:30 PM.
Practical tips
- Bring lawn chairs, sunscreen and a small cooler.
- The town gets warm — plan hydration for kids and older folks.
- Traffic gets thick on parade morning; leave 30 minutes earlier than you think.
- Fireworks end around 10 PM; expect gridlock leaving the square.
